This recipe came about when a friend in the craft beer industry asked if we could have a crack at recreating his favorite NZ Pilsner which is produced by a popular NZ brewery using only Riwaka hops... which happen to be his favorite hop.
We knocked out a sample batch and did some taste testing. Overwelmingly, tasters preferred this over the original in side by side tasting.
The recipe utilizes a healthy amount of Riwaka througout the boil with a hop stand and dry hop for good measure because apparently you can't have too much Riwaka.

I enjoy a happy Pils
Well I travel the south for my job and I enjoy a certain well distributed Pils on my travels. I brewed this recipe and all I can say is I have at home a pils every bit the quality taste and aroma of what I can purchase around the island. No I'll say this is better. Try it I don't think you will be disappointed in anyway. Cheers.
